At Made with Love and Hope, we understand the pain and devastation that suicide can bring to families and communities. That's why we have made it our mission to help raise awareness and prevent suicide through the power of baking. Our founder/owner was inspired to start this organization after the tragic loss of his nephew, Matthew Lane Hobby. Matthew was a gifted teenage musician (and skateboarder) who struggled with depression and anxiety, yet he always had a heart for helping others and had a smile that could brighten anyone's day.

When Matthew died by suicide at just 14 years old, his family and friends were left heartbroken and grappling with the question of why. It was in the aftermath of this tragedy that our founder decided to channel his grief into something positive. He began baking and selling cookies to raise money for suicide prevention organizations and Made with Love and Hope was born.

Today, we continue to bake with purpose, using our delicious treats to spread awareness about suicide prevention and raise funds for nonprofit organizations that support mental health. We believe that every life is precious and that by working together, we can help prevent suicide and support those who are struggling with mental illness. Thank you for joining us in this mission.
